The Center's Mission:
The Columbus Christian
Counseling Center was established on July 23, 1996, to
assist individuals and families who need professional
guidance to cope with and overcome challenges which
interfere with living a rich and full life. Our
counselors are concerned about all aspects of the
individual: emotional, mental, and spiritual. Both
Christians and non-Christians suffer psychological and
emotional pain which must be dealt with in order to move
forward in life. Our counselors strive to help everyone who
comes to us to realize the joy and abundant life we believe
God intends for each of us to experience.
Our building
was destroyed by tornado on March 1st, 2007. One year later we moved into our new facility (shown above) built upon the
site where our older building sat. The new building provides a reception area, offices for four counselors and a group meeting room with kitchen.
Our Standards:
Rigorous training is required to meet national and state
standards for counselors. We are dedicated and mature
Christians who are Nationally Board Certified and licensed
to practice mental health counseling.
